The Mailbox Resources Management agent retrieves a list of the mailbox databases in the organization and removes from this list mailbox databases that are:<\/p>\n<p>[ulist style=&#8221;8&#8243;]<br \/>\nMarked for exclusion from the distribution process (by default, exclusion is disabled for all DB)<br \/>\nOutside of the management scope applied to the current admin<br \/>\nOutside of the local Active Directory site<br \/>\n[\/ulist]<\/p>\n<p>Then, the agent randomly distributes mailboxes across the DB in the list. If you don&#8217;t want mailboxes to be distributed automatically, you can disable Mailbox Resources Management agent (with the &#8220;Disable-CmdletExtensionAgent&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can configure the provisioning parameters for the Mailbox Databases and specify which DB should be included or excluded in the Automatic Mailbox distribution process.
